   Great video Sue! So true. You and I are on the same page.
   Paul Krugman says it best in his NY Times op-ed peice. “The President Surrenders.” about the current deal to raise the federal debt ceiling in the works.

   “For the deal itself, given the available information, is a disaster, and not just for President Obama and his party. It will damage an already depressed economy; it will probably make America’s long-run deficit problem worse, not better; and most important, by demonstrating that raw extortion works and carries no political cost, it will take America a long way down the road to banana-republic status.”

     Yeah Stan – see more on my new Robert Reich page from his website where he predicts that the new deal will be a disaster for the economy. I have already seen the NYT article because I am a masochist and keep torturing myself. No one is going to save us poor suckers Stan! It is up to us!
