Spice gets high

December 31, 2011 Posted by suefairview

With the New Year coming and all, I thought that Spice should celebrate her survival. So I went downtown and bought her a catnip mouse. Here are some shots of her with her first catnip mouse! BTW – she is eating well and we will have her weight checked on Monday.

Hmm. Something here smells interesting…

Aha! A mouse! Pounce on it!

Eat it! Kill it! Bite it! Chew it! Destroy it! Hey wait, I feel so weird and funny…

I think I’ll just roll on this mouse for a while. Mmmmmm. Ahhhhhhh. Oooooo. Is that the edge of the table, how did it get right there??? Oops! I almost fell off!

There is definitely something strange going on with that mouse! But I just can’t stay away from it…

Too cute and funny! I always wonder what it makes them feel like.
BTW that miniature Hibiscus is lovely and that other plant that
    looks like a Bromeliad.
Happy New Year Sue, Hubby and all the pets.

We are thrilled with Spice’s progress. She eats voraciously and her fur is silky and glossy. We’ve removed almost all of the mats. She is full of piss and vinegar! But sweet too! She’s taken to climbing up on my shoulders, when I protest about her being on my keyboard!

I don’t think it is a miniature Stan, it just flowers smaller in the Winter. I am surprised as you that it is still flowering. LOL! Yes, the other plant is a Bromeliad.

Happy New Year to you both!

Great she’s doing so well. “Piss & vinegar”?? Have not heard that phrase for a looong time. That was a phrase MY parents used…and I am older than you. HAVE A GREAT YEAR !!!

My Hibiscus tree is in the basement for the winter all leafless and asleep until I bring it outside again in Spring.
